I photograph branding and portraits for local business owners and families, and I make fine art prints of the Texas Hill Country and the places I've wandered.

HILL COUNTRY ROOTS, CURIOUS EYES
There's something about the Texas Hill Country that keeps pulling me back. Cypress trees along the river, wide open skies over Comal County, a quiet morning in Gruene before the town wakes up. Those are the moments that taught me to slow down and really look.
I’ve always been the family shutterbug, the kid sorting through old photos at my grandparents’ house and filling albums with every vacation and special event. I started with a Polaroid, of course, then a Kodak point and shoot where we loaded film and hoped for the best. Once I picked up a Nikon, I never looked back.
Travel taught me to look a little closer. The cliffs of Inishmore in Ireland, morning light on Lake Como, the canals of Venice and the bold angles of Rotterdam. Every trip comes home with me, and the best moments become prints.
Today I get to do two things I love: help people feel at ease in front of the camera, and share the places that shaped me, from Landa Park to the other side of the world.

What Inspires My Work
Coffee in the morning, a glass of wine at sunset. Both pair nicely with a good view.
I'm usually halfway through a book, and one always comes along when I travel.
My favorite people to photograph are my family and friends, eye rolls and all.
My favorite light in New Braunfels is the Guadalupe River at sunset.
Next trip on my list? Still deciding, but my camera bag is already packed.
