All photographs, images, artwork, written content, product descriptions, graphics, logos, page designs, and other original materials appearing on this website are owned by Jennifer Preiss and Preiss Photography & Landscape Prints unless otherwise stated.
These materials are protected by United States and applicable international copyright laws.
Ownership of Photographs
Jennifer Preiss retains the copyright and ownership of her photographs unless those rights have been transferred through a separate written agreement signed by the copyright owner.
Purchasing a fine art print, booking a photography session, receiving a digital image, or viewing an image online does not transfer copyright ownership.
Fine Art Print Purchases
The purchase of a fine art print gives the purchaser the right to display that physical print for personal or internal business décor.
It does not include the right to:
* Copy or scan the photograph
* Create additional prints
* Reproduce the image on another product
* Use the image in advertising or marketing
* Resell reproductions of the image
* Upload the image for commercial use
* Create derivative artwork
* Use the photograph as a logo, brand element, or product design
* Use the image for artificial intelligence training or image-generation datasets
Any reproduction or commercial use requires prior written permission and, when applicable, a licensing agreement.
Website Images
Images displayed on this website may not be downloaded, copied, captured, reproduced, printed, altered, cropped, filtered, removed from their original context, or used without written permission.
The ability to view, share, save, screenshot, or download an image through a browser or social media platform does not grant permission to use it.
Social Media Sharing
Links to website pages or original social media posts may be shared for personal, noncommercial purposes.
When permission is granted to repost an image, the image must:
* Remain unaltered
* Include visible and accurate credit
* Tag or identify Preiss Photography or Preiss Landscape Prints
* Link to the original website or social media account when possible
* Not be used to promote a product, service, event, property, or business without a commercial license
Credit does not replace the need for permission.
Commercial and Editorial Use
Photographs may not be used for commercial, editorial, promotional, publication, tourism, hospitality, real estate, advertising, website, social media, packaging, merchandise, or interior installation purposes without prior written authorization.
Selected photographs may be available for licensing. Licensing terms and fees are determined according to the specific image, intended use, placement, duration, distribution, audience, territory, and exclusivity requested.

Client Photography
Portrait, branding, graduate, family, event, and other client photographs are governed by the photography agreement and image-use terms provided for that session.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, clients receive personal-use rights to their delivered photographs. Copyright remains with Jennifer Preiss and Preiss Photography.
Personal-use permission generally does not include commercial advertising, publication, resale, entry into commercial contests, third-party business use, or extensive editing.
Business branding clients should refer to their individual agreement for the commercial-use permissions included with their session.
Alteration and Editing
Photographs may not be materially altered without permission.
This includes adding filters, changing colors, removing watermarks, applying artificial intelligence edits, replacing backgrounds, adding text or graphics over the image, creating composites, or otherwise changing the appearance or meaning of the photograph.
Reasonable resizing for an expressly authorized use may be permitted when the original proportions and visual integrity of the photograph are maintained.
Artist Credit
When credit is required, it should appear substantially as:

The exact credit wording may be specified in a licensing agreement or photography contract.
Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized use of any photograph or copyrighted material may result in a request for immediate removal, retroactive licensing fees, damages, legal costs, or other remedies available under applicable law.
Removing a photograph after unauthorized use does not automatically eliminate responsibility for the prior use.
Reporting Misuse
To report suspected unauthorized use or to ask permission to use an image, please provide the website address, publication, screenshot, or other details showing where the image appears.
